Infra Engineer – Data Centre Facilities

Short Summary

Our client is looking for a high calibre to support 24x7 data centre operations by maintaining physical infrastructure, coordinating vendors, and performing hands-on installation and troubleshooting as Infra Engineer – Data Centre Facilities

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor data centre facilities and perform routine operational checks.
• Respond to incidents and support day-to-day facilities operations.
• Coordinate and escort external vendors for maintenance, installation, and corrective works.
• Ensure all vendor activities comply with site security, safety, and operational procedures.
• Perform network cabling additions, removals, and modifications.
• Carry out physical installation and decommissioning of servers and network equipment.
• Troubleshoot cabling and connectivity issues, including after-hours support when required.
• Support infrastructure upgrades, expansions, and preventive maintenance activities.

Key Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in data centre facilities or other mission-critical environments.
• Practical experience with physical server and network device installation and removal.
• Strong hands-on capability in diagnosing and resolving cabling and connectivity issues.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable with shift-based work and after-hours support.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.
